John is a third-generation sport angler whose passion for fishing has gone on since the age of four. He has fished up and down the east coast for both salt and fresh water species. His initial passion was for freshwater trout, growing up fishing the creeks and streams of northern Maryland and southern Pennsylvania for over 20 years. This was the catalyst to becoming an expert at river smallmouth fishing which he guides for professionally and designs lures. John is owner/founder of Snagler Tackle Company, LLC, which he started in 2012. He resides in Lititz, PA with his wife, Christine, and their daughter, Sarah, who is currently in college.
