The New England Fishing & Outdoor Expo is proud to add Former Bassmaster Elite Series Angler and current Bassmaster Open series angler Mark Burgess to the show’s list of attractions and seminar speakers.
Burgess is a native of Norton, Massachusetts and boasts 50 years of fishing experience; 13 of those years, he has fished professionally. During his professional career, Burgess has achieved numerous awards and notoriety. Some of these highlights include: B.A.S.S. Elite Series Angler in 2009 and 2010, B.A.S.S. Open Championship Qualifier, FLW Tour Qualifier/angler and FLW Series angler, two-time Stren Series Championship Qualifier and 1998 Massachusetts B.A.S.S. Federation State Champion.
Burgess is especially skilled at bass fishing; his favorite method is throwing a Buzz Bait over heavy cover for big bass. His biggest catches include a 50-pound striper, an 8.4-pound largemouth bass and a 6-pound smallmouth bass. During the Expo, Burgess will be offering two seminars where he will discuss “How to choose the right colored bait every time” and “How to pick the right bait for the time of year”.
When Burgess is not out on the water, he also enjoys hunting, NASCAR Racing and trucks, and also spending time with his wife and three kids.
